Welcome to socialstuffs! These terms keep things friendly and fair for everyone. By using the site, you agree to them. We've tried to keep it short and human, with no wall of legalese, but we do take it seriously.

Be a good citizen

This is a place to share with people you care about, so treat others the way you'd want to be treated. No hateful, harassing, threatening, or mean-spirited content. No nudity, gore, or anything illegal. If you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don't post it here.

Don't abuse the system

Please don't try to break, overload, or exploit the site. That means no spamming, no scraping, no hacking, no bots, no impersonating other people, and no trying to get around the limits or moderation we put in place. Use the platform the way it's meant to be used, and don't ruin it for anyone else.

Be yourself

Don't pretend to be someone you're not. No impersonating other people, famous or not, and no posing as someone else to mislead, deceive, or trick the folks you're connected to. If we find an account impersonating another person, we'll do our best to remove or block it.

Keeping things clean

We do our best to keep unsavory content off the site by using AI and machine learning to spot things that break the rules. It isn't perfect, and it may sometimes flag stuff that's perfectly fine. When that happens we're sorry for the hassle, but we'd rather err on the side of keeping everyone safe. If we get it wrong, let us know and we'll take another look.

Help us keep it good

We can't catch everything on our own, so we rely on the community to help. If you come across an imposter, questionable content, or anything else that doesn't belong here, please report it. The more eyes looking out for each other, the better this place stays for everyone. Report stuff to the team.

Sharing is your call

socialstuffs is a social thing, so what you share goes to the people you choose to share it with. You decide who's in your circle. Just remember that anything you post can be seen, saved, or screen-shot by the folks you've shared it with, so share thoughtfully.

No algorithmic games

We won't target you with content based on an algorithm trying to guess what'll keep you hooked. Our goal is simple: do our best to show you the actual latest content from the people you're connected to, in the order it happened. No mystery feed, no manipulation, just your folks and their stuff.

Your stuff is yours

You own what you create. We don't claim it, sell it, or pretend it's ours. We only store and display it so the platform works for you and the people you share with. You can edit or delete your content at any time, and you can delete your account whenever you like. It's your data and your choice.

We'll do our best

We work hard to keep the site up, fast, and secure. That said, we're a small operation, so we can't promise it'll be perfect or available 100% of the time. We may occasionally need to make changes, take things down, or pause the service for maintenance. We'll try not to surprise you.

If the rules get broken

If someone breaks these terms, especially the "be a good citizen" part, we may remove content or suspend accounts to keep the community healthy. We'd always rather talk it out than swing the ban hammer, but we'll do what's needed to keep this a good place to be.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms now and then as the site grows. If we make a meaningful change, we'll do our best to let you know. Continuing to use socialstuffs after an update means you're okay with the new version.
